My name is Julia Wilkinson, founder of JW Event Care and a mother of two.

For more than 30 years, my career has been dedicated to caring for babies and supporting families through life’s most important moments.

Beginning as an NNEB-trained nursery nurse and private nanny, I developed a deep understanding of children’s emotional needs, routines and the importance of calm, nurturing care.

I later trained at Great Ormond Street Hospital as a Registered Sick Children’s Nurse before specialising in Neonatal Intensive Care, caring for some of the most vulnerable babies and supporting families when reassurance matters most.

I currently work within a Level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, where providing exceptional care, reassurance and support for babies and their families is at the centre of everything I do.

This experience allows me to bring together clinical expertise, professionalism, and a calm, reassuring presence, giving parents complete confidence that their little ones are in safe, experienced hands.
